honestly, that look things have in space where the shadows and highlights are super sharply defined, or the shadows are even pitch black. it’s an amazing aesthetic and i wish i saw more of it in space art.
anyone who tries to guilt you away from using pure black as an artist is a coward. space is empty. paint it that way.
